Closed Movie Theaters Are Wreaking Havoc on Popcorn Farmers

href=”//screencrush.com/author/mattsinger/” rel=”author” title=”Matt Singer”>Matt SingerPublished: September 21, 2020Getty Images

The coronavirus is like a Keanu Reeves movie; a chain reaction of things that keep besetting one industry after another. The closure of movie theaters — which is still ongoing in some parts of the country — doesn’t just impact those specific companies and their employees. It also affects the studios, who don’t have a place to screen their blockbusters. And it trickles down to the companies that provide those chains with the snacks that audiences crave — most importantly popcorn, that time-honored tradition of movie theaters dating back decades.

With no one going to movie theaters, that means no one is eating movie-theater popcorn — and that means movie-theater popcorn is not selling. The Washington Post reports that the corn companies that stock theaters are faced with enormous surpluses, like Nebraska’s Preferred Popcorn, which has built new equipment just to hold all the popcorn they can’t get rid of:

Based in Chapman, Neb., Preferred has installed seven new silos to hold excess product. They will hold 15,925,000 pounds of popcorn kernels, says Plucker, while doing some math. Each pound of kernels will produce about five 130-ounce tubs — those are the jumbo buckets beloved by moviegoers — so the excess kernels stored in these seven bins would provide roughly 80 million tubs of popcorn.

Companies like Preferred can’t just pivot to selling their stock to grocery stores, the Post says, because they “do not have machinery for microwave retail packaging,” or the contracts they would need. So they’ve got 80 million tubs worth of popcorn lying around instead. Now they’re working with new partners to find new ways to sell their product. Meanwhile, theaters in New York and many areas remain closed, with no opening date in sight. Hopefully the industry gets back on its feet soon, before all that popcorn goes bad.

‘Saturday Night Live’ Will Return With Live Episodes in October

href=”//screencrush.com/author/mattsinger/” rel=”author” title=”Matt Singer”>Matt SingerPublished: September 10, 2020NBC

Saturday Night hasn’t been live from New York since March, when the coronavirus pandemic shut down production on SNL and pretty much every television show around the country. Saturday Night Live wound up closing out its 45th season with a series of shows produced remotely by the cast and crew from their homes. The first was hosted by Tom Hanks, the third by former cast member Kristen Wiig. That episode aired on May 9.

SNL has been dark since then, but NBC announced today that the show would not only return for its 46th season premiere on October 3, it would do so with its first live episode since the pandemic began. They have yet to announce a host or musical guest for the show.

Saturday Night Live faces some significant obstacles in returning to live tapings. The show thrives on the energy pumped out by its studio audience, something that’s all but impossible because of the continuing pandemic. If they’re going to shoot in Studio 8H, they’re putting a lot of cast and crew members in a tight space for a significant period of time, which will require some serious safety protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. Even with thorough protections, there will be some risks.

Still, SNL typically draws huge ratings in the run-up to national elections, and the Fall 2020 season should be no exception. The race plus the virus itself should provide plenty of fodder for sketches. It should be a very interesting year on Saturday Night Live, assuming they are actually able to shoot all the episodes.

‘On the Rocks’ Trailer: Sofia Coppola and Bill Murray Reunite

href=”//screencrush.com/author/mattsinger/” rel=”author” title=”Matt Singer”>Matt SingerPublished: August 19, 2020A24

Sofia Coppola’s new comedy On the Rocks marks her first movie collaboration with her Lost in Translation star Bill Murray in 17 years. (In 2015, they did make the Very Murray Christmas special together for Netflix.) 17 years! Where does the time go? This time, Murray plays a guy whose daughter (Rashida Jones) turns to him for advice when she begins to suspect her husband (Marlon Wayans) may be cheating on her. People see the real Bill Murray as a kind of schlubby guru in real life so this casting makes perfect sense.

Watch the first trailer here:

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

A young New York mother faced with sudden doubts about her marriage teams up with her larger-than-life playboy father to tail her husband. What follows is a sparkling comic adventure across the city—drawing father and daughter closer together despite one detour after another. Acclaimed filmmaker Sofia Coppola brings a light touch to this blend of an exuberant love letter to New York, a generation-clash comedy about how we see relationships differently from our parents, and a funny celebration of the complications that bind modern families even as they tie us in crazy knots. Laura (Rashida Jones) thinks she’s happily hitched, but when her husband Dean (Marlon Wayans) starts logging late hours at the office with a new co-worker, Laura begins to fear the worst. She turns to the one man she suspects may have insight: her charming, impulsive father Felix (Bill Murray), who insists they investigate the situation. As the two begin prowling New York at night, careening from uptown parties to downtown hotspots, they discover at the heart of their journey lies their own relationship.

On the Rocks will be in theaters and on Apple TV+ in October.

James Blake – I’ll Come Too Lyrics

I’m gonna say what I need
If it’s the last thing I do
I do, I do, I do
I knew that kind of mood
I’ve thrown my hat in the ring
I’ve got nothing to loose
With you, with you, with you
I knew that kind of mood

I’ll go under your wing
I’ll slow write in between the
Cracks between you and him
I don’t wanna go home
Shall we drive from zone to zone
I wouldn’t do this on my own
But I’m not on my own tonight

Oh, you’re going to New York?
I’m going there
Why don’t I come with you
Oh, you’ve changed to L.A.?
I’m going there, I can go there too

I’m gonna say what I need
If it’s the last thing I do
I do, I do, I do
I knew that kind of mood
I’ve thrown my hat in the ring
I’ve got nothing to loose
With you, with you, with you
I knew that kind of mood

I’ll go under your wing
I’ll slow write in between the
Cracks between you and him
I don’t wanna go home
Shall we drive from zone to zone
I wouldn’t do this on my own
But I’m not on my own tonight

Oh, you’re going to the brink?
I’m going there
Why don’t I come with you
You don’t care what they think
I’m getting there, I can get there too

I’m gonna say what I need
If it’s the last thing I do
I do, I do, I do
I knew that kind of mood
I’ve thrown my hat in the ring
I’ve got nothing to loose
With you, with you, with you
I knew that kind of mood

I’ll go under your wing
I’ll slow write in between the
Cracks between you and him
I don’t wanna go home
Shall we drive from zone to zone
I wouldn’t do this on my own
But I’m not on my own tonight

Jehry Robinson – Ritual Lyrics (feat. Joey Cool)

[Intro: Jehry Robinson]
Yeah
I feel good
Let’s just all try to feel good
New York
Yeah
FBA
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

[Verse 1: Jehry Robinson]
Too many rainy days
Got me feelin’ many ways
They say a penny saved is a dollar earned
They’ve gotta learn the hard way around my way sometimes…
That’s gon’ take some time
Man I ain’t gon’ lie
So I apologize for monetizing my pain
On account in my brain
For whomever this pertains to
Please never refrain
From investing in the messages that replicate your ways
As money comes with the praise
The sun gon’ come with the shade
I’m cuddled up with the blade
There’s nothing to catch the fade
They puppets so nothing changed
And stuck ’em up on some stages
A platform and a mic, but still got nothing to say
I’ve been waiting my whole life and never faded away

[Hook: Jehry Robinson] (2X)
So I’ma spread the love, feel the love don’t hate me
Gotta keep it hot for the block no AC
Gotta make that bread in the shot no bakery, baby
Ooh child, when you smile the world sings

[Verse 2: Jehry Robinson]
I’ve been saving all my change
Just so they can call my name
Booty bangin’ baby they gon’ put you in a hall of fame
All I aim for in life is my dreams
I know shit ain’t what it seems
I know life ain’t but a dream
But one day I’ll be the king (Uh)
We embrace the beauty of it
Truly loving what we do
On a day to day basis
It’s as if we coexist
But sometimes we bound to slip

Off the course, of course I’m a boss
We entrepreneurs

[Hook: Jehry Robinson & Joey Cool] (2X)
So I’ma spread the love, feel the love don’t hate me
Gotta keep it hot for the block no AC (Yeah)
Gotta make that bread in the shot no bakery, baby (Yeah)
Ooh child, when you smile the world sings (Woo, I got to sing)

[Verse 3: Joey Cool]
Coolie Baby unruly baby, I’m being honest
I did not get this polished nigga from being modest
They see a veteran tease it, easily be astonished
We go repeatedly undefeated we been about it
Ask about the nigga who spits ridiculous shit
I’m finna f*ckin’ flip a switch
I be bussin’ I’m sick of shit
Everything I’m touchin’ discuss it
I love it, I’m in this bitch
Nigga this big loving is nothing, I’m huffing
They say Coolie acting all stuck up
Nigga what’s up
I’ma grind out
I don’t trust luck
Let me find out
What you dumb f*cks
Try’na blindside
We gon’ rush up
Got me f*cked up
On the hush hush
Ain’t no gimmicks here
Niggas just bust
Shut the f*ck up
They ain’t touched us
This what started nigga we was young once

[Hook: Jehry Robinson] (2X)
So I’ma spread the love, feel the love don’t hate me
Gotta keep it hot for the block no AC
Gotta make that bread in the shot no bakery, baby
Ooh child, when you smile the world sings

[Outro: Jehry Robinson]
Haha
Yeah
Uh huh
So that”s just how to feel good

Woody Allen Is the New Box Office Champ Thanks to Coronavirus

href=”//screencrush.com/author/mattsinger/” rel=”author” title=”Matt Singer”>Matt SingerPerdido Productions

Woody Allen has never had a movie gross over $100 million dollars in the United States. He’s made just one film that earned more than $50 million in the U.S. — 2011’s Midnight in Paris. In a career spanning 50 years and about that many movies, Allen’s biggest opening weekend ever was just $3.8 million. (The film: 2001’s Small Town Crooks.) Even when his film’s have been successful, they’ve never been blockbusters. And after sexual abuse allegations made by his adoptive daughter Dylan in 1992 gained renewed attention in light of the #MeToo movement, Amazon Studios decided to permanently shelve Allen’s most recent film, A Rainy Day in New York, rather than even attempt a domestic release.

But coronavirus has turned the world upside down. Thousands of theaters around the world are closed because of the pandemic. Studios have postponed nearly all of their spring releases until multiplexes can reopen their doors. On one recent weekend, the entire domestic box office report came from a single drive-in theater in Florida. And last weekend, A Rainy Day in New York became the top film at the international box office — at least according to Box Office Mojo.

Head to their “Latest International Weekends” page and you’ll see two countries listed: Norway and South Korea, one of the few places around the world that’s had success in getting their coronavirus outbreak under control. While ticket sales there are at “5%” of last year’s levels, the top movie in South Korea last weekend was still A Rainy Day in New York, which earned about $340,000. (The top film in Norway was Disney’s Onward, which grossed $17,208.)

It’s another surreal twist in the story of A Rainy Day in New York, which still hasn’t received a U.S. release. Amazon’s decision to withhold the movie resulted in a $68 million lawsuit between Amazon and Allen that was ultimately settled and dismissed. Both of the film’s stars, Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez, donated their salaries from the film to charity.

But Amazon’s control of the movie didn’t extended to the entire world. Although A Rainy Day in New York never came out in New York (or anywhere else in the U.S. for that matter) it has played in theaters around the globe. According to The Numbers, the film has already earned more than $16.9 million worldwide. That’s more than Allen’s previous movie, 2017’s Wonder Wheel, despite the fact that that one did get an American release. And the controversy did not prevent Allen from producing another movie; he shot Rifkin’s Festival last summer with a cast that includes Gina Gershon, Wallace Shawn, and Christoph Waltz. If and when it might come out in theaters is anyone’s guess thanks to the pandemic.

Josh Turner – Hometown Girl lyrics

She grew up around here on that southwest side
Where the corn grows up to the road side
Went to high school here, got that Panther pride
She’ll be cheering them on every Friday night

She couldn’t hide her beauty with a baseball cap
Couldn’t help but shine with a heart like that
New York called when she turned 21
But she never forgot where she came from

I need a pretty little homegrown hometown girl
With a ribbon tying back those waterfall curls
I’ve been looking all over, all over the world
For a pretty little homegrown hometown girl

googletag.cmd.push(function() { var map = googletag.sizeMapping().addSize([337, 280], [[300, 250], [336, 280]]).addSize([0, 0], [300, 250]).build(); googletag.defineSlot(‘/115733527/Lyrics_Inline’, [[300, 250], [336, 280]], ‘lyrics-inline-300×250’).defineSizeMapping(map).addService(googletag.pubads()); });

Her mamma’s mamma was born right here
And her roots run deeper than that old town square
She’s a good girl but she’s not uptight
She can rise and shine and she can hang all night

I need a pretty little homegrown hometown girl
With a ribbon tying back those waterfall curls
I’ve been looking all over, all over the world
For a pretty little homegrown hometown girl

She’s got an old soul, she’s the salt of the earth
When she gives her love she knows what it’s worth
There’s a lot of pretty girls out there to me
But there’s nothing like the one right across the street

I need a pretty little homegrown hometown girl
With a ribbon tying back those waterfall curls
I’ve been looking all over, all over the world
For a pretty little homegrown hometown girl

I need a pretty little homegrown hometown girl

Harry Styles – Ever Since New York (On SNL) (Live)

[Verse 1]
Tell me something, tell me something
You don’t know nothing, just pretend you do
I need something, so tell me something new
Choose your words ’cause there’s no antidote
For this curse or what’s it waiting for
Must desert you just before you go

[Chorus]
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know

[Verse 2]
Brooklyn saw me, empty avenues
There’s no water inside this swimming pool
Almost over, that’s enough from you
I’ve been praying, I never did before
Understand I’m talking to the walls
And I’ve been praying ever since New York

[Chorus]
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know

Kim Wilde – Kids In America

Looking out a dirty old window
Down below the cars in the city go rushing by
I sit here alone and I wonder why
Friday night and everyone’s moving
I can feel the heat but it’s soothing, heading down
I search for the beat in this dirty town (downtown)
The young ones are going
(Downtown) the young ones are growing
We’re the kids in America (whoa)
We’re the kids in America (whoa)
Everybody live for the music-go-round
Bright lights, the music gets faster
Look, boy, don’t check on your watch, not another glance
I’m not leaving now, honey, not a chance
Hot-shot, give me no problems
Much later, baby, you’ll be saying nevermind
You know life is cruel, life is never kind (kind hearts)
Don’t make a new story
(Kind hearts) don’t grab any glory
We’re the kids in America (whoa)
We’re the kids in America (whoa)
Everybody live for the music-go-round
La la la la-la la-a
La la la la-la la, sing!
La la la la-la la-a
La la la la-la la
Come closer, honey, that’s better
Got to get a brand-new experience, feeling right
Oh, don’t try to stop, baby, hold me tight
Outside a new day is dawning
Outside suburbia’s sprawling everywhere
I don’t want to go, baby
New York to east California
There’s a new wave coming, I warn ya
We’re the kids in America (whoa)
We’re the kids in America (whoa)
Everybody lives for the music-go-round
La la la la-la la-a
La la la la-la la, sing!
La la la la-la la-a
La la la la-la la
We’re the kids
We’re the kids
We’re the kids in America
We’re the kids
We’re the kids
We’re the kids in America
We’re the kids
We’re the kids
We’re the kids in America

Homeboy Sandman – Bamboo

[Intro]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, aight?
Yo, this is going out to my main man Aja yo the translator, yo
Yo, I’m recording this in Tokyo with an engineer that don’t speak english y’know what I’m saying?
And gotta catch a train that shuts down in ten minutes, y’know what I’m saying?
We gonna get it right though

[Verse 1]
Sand is making art again, pardon him
He’ll relieve himself on any lawn that needs watering
That’s how come the DJs give him ads ad nauseum
Cause it that gardening
He’ll get it popping in the UK Parliament
He’ll get it popping like the kumite tournament
He’ll get it popping like all the guys in Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut
He’ll leave you hanging like a holiday ornament (holy shit)
Name all in your mouth like it was Poligrip
Now the kid is sicker than his azazel with a nasal drip and ain’t a bit
Nervous at your service motherfuckers, free the slaves to save the union, move some units keep it moving like a trucker
Out in Brooklyn I’ll be looking at the clouds, New York’s dead
Out in Brooklyn I’ll be looking at the clowns, there be crowds of them homie there be droves of them, loads of them
But you know something? Yo, I don’t even mind I just put it in a rhyme ’cause they rhyme
Predecessor to the iPhone
Was a eye for a eye
All the glory be to God so I god glorify
The cornea of the storm and end a story going hahaha
No L-O-L, lift you like a kettlebell, word to mother chocolate covered caramel
I will tell the devil he can go to hell before I take an L
Go for dolo, take a photo and I can flow like Quasimoto
Ring the bell that’s why I hold it the belt
Bald and bearded kind of build
Quick to lace a doubter with a cow to milk
Plus I got a goddess i protect from getting hurt or getting killed, not only that but if I was Scottish I would probably rock a kilt
Most slept on, but i’ll fluff your pillow for a half a mil’
I might just pick a weeping willow or a daffodil
But wait i need to take a pill to chill
And I never say lit or swag or trill
Not the type to drop a body in a landfill
More the type you might find partying to Johnny Gill
When I was two months old my uncle taught me how to grill
Then nicknamed me ‘The Carpenter’ ’cause I knew how to build
First so was the Legos then it was with Play-Doh
People said that’s dangerous in the cradle, really what do they know?
The boner made of caramel part sweet potato
Owner of the parallel parked winnebago

In my coupe – Rich the Kid feat. Famous Dex lyrics

Lyrics Rich the Kid – In my coupe

I just pulled up in my coupe
I might just f*ck on your boo
Look at my hunnids they blue, ooh
I f*cked your b*tch after school
Dive in the b*tch like a pool
Look at my chains not too cool
Now she say she fallin’ in love
She fell in love with the drugs
I just might make her my boo
She fell in love with the jewels
You had the juice but you lost it
My diamonds wet like a faucet
Your b*tch she callin’ my iPhone
Diamonds yellow like the Flintstones
They doing sh*t that we been on
I’m in New York like I’m Jim Jones.

Bad b*tch, I’ma bust on her titties
Good lean gotta f*ck up my kidneys
More money gotta flex on these b*tches
f*ck her in the Rari, switching positions
I was broke, I had to get it
I was trappin’ out the kitchen
Selling dope I do the dishes
Trappin’ yeah right on the stove, may God be my witness
He say he get money but I need a witness
Boy yo’ money shorter than midgets
Ice on me got my frigid
Toke nice niggas know you missin’
Magazine model sucking me sloppy
Rich Forever Way they wanna copy
Play with me, they’ll be finding your body
Wake up, I’ma buy a Bugatti.

I just pulled up in my coupe
I might just f*ck on your boo
Look at my hunnids they blue, ooh
I f*cked your b*tch after school
Dive in the b*tch like a pool
Look at my chains not too cool
Now she say she fallin’ in love
She fell in love with the drugs
I just might make her my boo
She fell in love with the jewels
You had the juice but you lost it
My diamonds wet like a faucet
Your b*tch she callin’ my iPhone
Diamonds yellow like the Flintstones
They doing sh*t that we been on
I’m in New York like I’m Jim Jones.

I got that money on me
I got these diamonds on me
Rich Forever be my team
Don’t trap where you stay, man they call the police
Come correct when you talking to me
Niggas sleeping but that money don’t stop
I’ma stack it and go get me a watch
Bad b*tch suck me up on a yacht
I’m in New York like I’m 50
f*ck her so good that she miss me
I was hustlin’, counting pennies
Now my money to the ceiling
Wait, I get the Lamb and they rent it
I ain’t been broke in a minute
Versuri-lyrics.info
I remember pockets empty
I get the guap, yeah I got the digits.

Jay what up bro
Rich what up bro
Rich Forever 3 on the way know what im sayin’
Just do all types of sh*t
Ooh, wait, yeah, oohhh.

I just pulled up in my coupe
I might just f*ck on your boo
Look at my hunnids they blue, ooh
I f*cked your b*tch after school
Dive in the b*tch like a pool

Joey Bada$$ – Super Predator (feat. Styles P) (All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ Album)

[Intro: Joey Bada$$]
Yeah, just ride with a nigga
America’s number one, you can bet on ya life!
Statik Selektah
Ride with a nigga like
America’s number one, you can bet on ya life!

[Verse 1: Joey Bada$$]
Call me the general, pushing that new agenda through
For my millennials, troubled youth and the felons too
Tryna be perennial, but chance of livin’ is minimal
She critical, exactly what made my niggas criminals
Typical AmeriKKKa, damn sure ain’t no miracle
Word to Steezy, I’ma keep this shit lyrical
‘Til I fall out my physical, all my verses is biblical, uh
Flowin’ religiously, my delivery spiritual, uh
Feelin’ invincible, this here is nothin’ new
This is just principle, take notes, if I were you
They say I’m a clumsy king, how I be droppin’ jewels
But see, the funny thing is I got lots to lose
Never no fucks to give, only one life to live
So I exchange my negative for a positive and it’s all
Good Lord, the pen is way mighty than the sword
Who want war? I told you before

[Pre-Chorus: Joey Bada$$]
How I kicked in the door
With the rugged raw, back just to reinstall
What you niggas thought it was?
Yes, I’m a veteran, you just a comer up
I can teach you a lesson
How to get your hunger up
Homie ya
How I kicked in the door
With the rugged raw back just to reinstall
What you niggas thought it was?
Yes, I’m a veteran, you just a come up
About to teach you a lesson
How to get your fuckin’ hunger up, nigga

[Chorus: Joey Bada$$]
Badmon, we ah run tings, yeah
Never let the tings run we, uh
All di gyal dem a come pree
But mi tell them that the buddy never come free
Badmon, we ah run tings, yeah
Never let the tings run we, uh
All di gyal dem a come pree
But mi tell them that the buddy never come free

[Verse 2: Styles P]
Super predator, filthy AmeriKKKa
Burn the newspapers and the editors
My dead presidents ain’t dead enough
Blew a zip to the head, still ain’t red enough
Pray to Jesus, hope he got you
No I’m not a chicken, I never listen to FOX News
Niggas built the country but never givin’ they props due
Payin’ for my people, I’m still payin’ for my pops dues
I’m royalty, my momma said it
I’m gold hearted, I’m scum headed
Lost soul in a promised land of promises
Gotta mask on, but no, I’m not anonymous
Built on my lonely, no accomplices
Light a L up for my accomplishments
I’m a real nigga, it’s not a lot of ’em
If they were, then the cops probably shot at ’em

[Chorus: Joey Bada$$]
Badmon, we ah run tings, yeah
Never let the tings run we, uh
All di gyal dem a come pree
But mi tell them that the buddy never come free
Badmon, we ah run tings, yeah
Never let the tings run we, uh
All di gyal dem a come pree
But mi tell them that the buddy never come free

[Verse 3: Joey Bada$$]
Yeah, I stomp the grounds in my Timberlands
Ain’t nothin’ colder than New York when that December in
The coldest shoulders, from average Joes and the simple mans
I pack the heat ’cause I’m known around to be simmerin’
That mean I’m finna hit the boilin’ point like real soon
Man, I’ve been heatin’ up, my self esteem been on the moon
The flow is hotter than volcanic craters near the equator
Any debaters is simply haters, they know that I’m greater
I be countin’ my paper, forever fuck all the majors
Did it all on my own, don’t owe nobody no favors
It’s clear, I’m heir to the throne, I’ve been the best in my zone
Internationally known, forever Brooklyn’s own
I mean, come on, but here’s for the Presidents, the Congressmen, the Senators
Who got us all slavin’ while they reapin’ all the benefits
Got the world thinkin’ that it’s true ’bout what they said of us
AmeriKKKa’s worst nightmare, the super predator

The Underachievers – Final Destination

Too many years – Kodak Black lyrics

Lyrics Kodak Black – Too many years

I done gave the jails too many years
Years that I won’t get back
And I swear I done shed too many tears
For niggas that I won’t get back
Yeah I got niggas in the graveyard
Niggas in the state yards
I swear not a day goes by
That I don’t think about the times
I wish that I could rewind.

‘Cause I done gave the jails too many years
Years that I won’t get back
And I swear I done shed too many tears
For niggas that I won’t get back
Yeah I got niggas in the graveyard
Niggas in the state yards
I swear not a day goes by
That I don’t think about the times
I wish that I could rewind.

I told my mama we gon’ be fine
So I’m up all night way after sleep time
I’m just thinkin’ ‘bout Lil Kuda
Gave my dog a dime versuri-lyrics.info
He put a buckshot in a nigga’s behind
No daddy so I grew up to the street life
But my son, I’ma keep him in the beehive
Scheming on a heist, I need to change my life
Been geekin’ all night, I’m going senile
With two niggas toting three 4-5’s
I seen a nigga play gangsta, then he broke down
Lost a lot, lost his mind in the courthouse
I’m on XXL, I’m in New York now.

‘Cause I done gave the jails too many years
Years that I won’t get back
And I swear I done shed too many tears
For niggas that I won’t get back
Yeah I got niggas in the graveyard
Niggas in the state yards
I swear not a day goes by
That I don’t think about the times
I wish that I could rewind.

I keep thinkin’ ‘bout my niggas
I think I need a jigga
I would keep on falling victim
Lost up in the system
Miss my brothers and my sisters
Damn I miss my lil one
I know sometimes I be tripping
But I just miss my niggas
I got codeine in my liver
I gave the judge a piece of me
I’m too street for the industry
But I think that’s where I need to be
‘Cause verbally, mentally, and physically I keep that heat
Me and my brother fit in
We smoking one with PnB
Niggas say they f*ck with me
But lowkey they be easin’ me
b*tches don’t mean shit to me
People tryna sentence me
How a youngin’ posted on the street, gon’ call it Sesame
1K ‘til the death of me, don’t put your life in jeopardy.

I done gave the jails too many years

Hard to love – Matthew Koma lyrics

Lyrics Matthew Koma – Hard to love

I rule the world from my sweat pants
I got a bitchin’ collection of headbands
I don’t wanna go out and see your friend’s band
Tell me when you had enough, enough, enough’s enough
I’m OCD with panic attacks
I got a thing for Japanese dry snacks
My voice was on like every fuckin’ house track
Tell me when you heard enough, enough, enough’s enough.(hard to love)

But hear me out this time my love
I’m tryna be someone you want
Your friends will tell you “Whitney, are you taking drugs?
You see something no one else does”.

‘Cause I’m hard to love
I’m hard to love
Yellow tiger on a leash
A diamond in the rough
The heart is in the right places
But I’m hard to love, I’m hard to love
But you mean everything to me
Don’t let me mess it up
‘Cause you’re the only one I
Plus I’m just hard to loveee
My heart is in the right places
But I’m hard to loveee.

Day and night at the studio
When I get home I reek of weed and I’m moody though
You say you can’t pick up and follow when my tummy rolls
I got a red eye to New York, tomorrow we’ll talk
And if you want a true gentleman versuri-lyrics.info
That’s a sport that I don’t got any medals in
I’m a sole that your shoes oughtta settle in
Show me a little bit of trust, just a touch.

But hear me out this time my love
I’m tryna be something I’m not
Your friends will tell you “Whitney, are you taking drugs?
Smoke ’em from his little black plugs”.

‘Cause I’m hard to loveee
I’m hard to loveee
Yellow tiger on a leash
A diamond in the rough
The heart is in the right places
But I’m hard to love, I’m hard to love
But you mean everything to me
Don’t let me mess it up
‘Cause you’re the only one I
Plus I’m just hard to loveee
But you mean everything to me
Don’t let me mess it up
‘Cause you’re the only one
Plus I’m just hard to loveee.

Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby
So why don’t you thrill me

PnB Rock – We Can Try Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Aye
Bad lil shawty she from New York city, aye
Met at my show she was supper pretty, aye
Got her number text her like you should get with me, aye
She said send a uber and she gon get wit me
She came with some of her friends
They linked with some of my friends
We smoked we got high

[Pre-Hook]
Girl you know you the one
And I can’t even lie

It ain’t never hard for me to spot you
Hit the bape store you know I shop for you
Don’t trip cause I got you
I’m like 6’2 you like 5’2
It ain’t never hard for me to spot you
Hit the bape store you know I shop for you

[Pre-Hook]
And girl you know you the one
And I can’t even lie
A nigga play if he wants
When it comes to you I would die
Yea I know we just met
But I swear I got a better side
I don’t wanna fall in love
But fuck it tho we can try it
Fuck it tho we can try it x2

Don’t you be so silent
We can see just where it goes x2
Maybe we should try it
Don’t you be so silent
We can see how far it goes x2

Horrorshow – My Time (Bardo State Album)

[Intro: Solo]
This is my time
This is my, this is my, this is my time
Spitting my rhyme
Spitting my, spitting my, spitting my rhyme
Yeah I’m hitting my stride
Hitting my, hitting my, hitting my stride
Yeah, this is my time
This is my, this is my, this is my (Yeah)

[Verse 1: Solo]
Ain’t a damn thing funny
Some of these dudes seem to print money but they’re counterfeit
But I don’t really blame ‘em
It’s all in the game man, shit, that’s just how it is
But it do piss me off
When they run around town and they flaunt like they’re proud of it
Well you can catch me with the clique
Holding up two fingers while I tell ‘em snap out of it
Like I was being rude to the waiter
As if I’d do that, I’m a smooth operator (Operator)
None greater this side of the equator
Never cater to lowest common denominator
And we prolly never gonna make the top ten
Thinking that’s the object, then you’re wrong then
They got us locked out, so we got it locked in
So come and pop in, we can get it poppin’
Now my body filling up with the toxins
Running out of time, running out of options
Sooner or later I’ma be up in a coffin
But this is now homie, not then

[Pre-Chorus: Turquoise Prince (Solo)]
‘Cause this is my time
I can feel it weighing on my mind
Knowing it will only slow me down
(I don’t wanna wait) I don’t wanna wait
(For another day) Not another day
(I don’t wanna wait) I don’t wanna wait
‘Cause I’ve got

[Chorus: Turquoise Prince]
One foot in the grave
One foot in the car
One accelerates
And one takes me too far
One step towards the light
Still blinded by the dark
One foot in the grave
I’m right back at the start

[Verse 2: Solo]
Look
I ain’t like these rappers (I ain’t like these rappers)
They just take the easy way out
Me, I like a challenge (Me, I like a challenge)
Put the grey disc in, then I hit spin, ever since
I been tryna find a balance (Tryna find a balance)
Hoping that it all weighs out (Weighs out)
But if you’re thinking anybody gon’ remember
Where they were on the day when your CD came out?
No way, sending shots like I’m buying José
Oh word, it’s your year? You don’t say
Gotta watch out for the fakes
They just do a good impression like a Monet
In the zone like I’m throwing strikes
But it ain’t happen overnight, did it?
We been putting in the overtime
Hoping that it coincide
So I’ma start where I am
Use what I have, do what I can
And when the road zigzag, whiplash
I’ma just stick to the plan
Supply and demand, I wanna be king of New York
I wanna be big in Japan
I want the world playing this shit saying
"This right here is my jam"
See this is my time, this is your time
Can’t nobody stop you from speaking your mind
You ain’t small time, you are all time
But we could all do with a little more time
This is your time, this is my time
Come and roll up, see the dead star shine
Till all round the world, they feel the vibrations
Toast the libations, ’cause time’s a wasting

[Chorus: Turquoise Prince]
One foot in the grave
One foot in the car
One accelerates
And one takes me too far
One step towards the light
Still blinded by the dark
One foot in the grave
I’m right back at the start

[Outro: Solo]
From the front to the back and the side to the side
Everybody in the house raise your hands, get ‘em high
‘Cause the hands on the clock never stop ticking by
And say this is my time, say this is my time

50 Cent – In Da Club (Int’l Version)

Go, go, go, go go, go, go, shawty
It’s your birthday
We gon’ party like it’s yo birthday
We gon’ sip Bacardi like it’s your birthday
And you know we don’t give a fuck
It’s not your birthday!

You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub
Look mami I got the X if you into taking drugs
I’m into having sex, I ain’t into making love
So come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed

You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub
Look mami I got the X if you into taking drugs
I’m into having sex, I ain’t into making love
So come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed

When I pull out up front, you see the Benz on dubs
When I roll twenty deep, it’s twenty knives in the club
Niggas heard I fuck with Dre, now they want to show me love
When you sell like Eminem, and the hoes they want to fuck
But homie ain’t nothing change hold down, G’s up
I see Xzibit in the Cutt that nigga roll that weed up
If you watch how I move you’ll mistake me for a player or pimp
Been hit wit a few shells but I don’t walk wit a limp
In the hood then the ladies saying "50 you hot"
They like me, I want them to love me like they love ‘Pac
But holla in New York them niggas’ll tell ya I’m loco
And the plan is to put the rap game in a choke hold
I’m feelin’ focused man, my money on my mind
I got a mill out the deal and I’m still on the grind
Now shawty said she feeling my style, she feeling my flow
Her girlfriend want to get bi and they ready to go

You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub
Look mami I got the X if you into taking drugs
I’m into having sex, I ain’t into making love
So come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed

You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub
Look mami I got the X if you into taking drugs
I’m into having sex, I ain’t into making love
So come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed

My flow, my show brought me the dough
That bought me all my fancy things
My crib, my cars, my pools, my jewels
Look, nigga, I came up and I ain’t changed

And you should love it, way more then you hate it
Nigga you mad? I thought that you’d be happy I made it
I’m that cat by the bar toasting to the good life
You that fagot ass nigga trying to pull me back right?
When my junk get to pumping in the club it’s on
I wink my eye at ya bitch, if she smiles she gone
If the roof on fire, let the motherfucker burn
If you talking bout money homie, I ain’t concerned
I’m a tell you what Banks told me cause go ‘head switch the style up
If the niggas hate then let ’em hate
Watch the money pile up
Or we go upside there wit a bottle of bub
You know where we fucking be

You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub
Look mami I got the X if you into taking drugs
I’m into having sex, I ain’t into making love
So come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed

You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub
Look mami I got the X if you into taking drugs
I’m into having sex, I ain’t into making love
So come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed

Don’t try to act like you ain’t know where we been either, nigga
In the club all the time, nigga, so it’s a problem pop off, nigga, G-Unit!

Si tu novio te deja – J. Balvin letra

Letra J. Balvin – Si tu novio te deja

Yo vivo dia y noche pensando en ti
y tu perdiendo el tiempo con el
dime donde estas que yo te quiero ver.(si tu novio te deja)

si tu novio te deja sola
dime y yo paso a buscarte
solo me bastaran un par de horas
ese cabron no va a recuperarte.

si tu novio te deja sola
dime y yo paso a buscarte

yo siempre me maltrato viendo tus videos tus retratos
dile a tu novio que ya se le vencio el contrato
conmigo se donde vas con tus arrebatos.

si tu novio te deja sola
dime y yo paso a buscarte
solo me bastaran un par de horas
ese cabron no va a recuperarte.

si tu novio te deja sola
dime y yo paso a buscarte

dime y yo paso a buscarte
solo me bastaran un par de horas

Josh Turner – Hometown Girl (Acoustic)

She grew up around here on that southwest side
Where the corn grows up to the road side
Went to high school here, got that Panther pride
She’ll be cheering them on every Friday night
She couldn’t hide her beauty with a baseball cap
Couldn’t help but shine with a heart like that
New York called when she turned 21
But she never forgot where she came from
I need a pretty little homegrown hometown girl
With a ribbon tying back those waterfall curls
I’ve been looking all over, all over the world
For a pretty little homegrown hometown girl

Aladin 135 – Passport (feat. Chynna Rogers) (Indigo Album)

[Refrain : Aladin 135]
Baby, j’fais le tour du monde
Cette nuit ensemble on va s’éclipser
Aux problèmes j’suis ta solution
J’m’endors dans l’avion, j’suis épuisé

[Couplet 1 : Aladin 135]
On veut se remplir de midi à midi
Pour te voir j’ai l’passeport, babe
Si je la trompe je peux lui dire, peux lui dire
J’suis aux quatre coins du globe, hey
Dis pas qu’ton gars manque d’oseille
On a d’jà assez d’problèmes

[Pont 1 : Aladin 135] (x2)
Je les bouge où je veux
Je les joue pour de vrai
Mon passeport me fait passe-partout
Peu importe où je vais

[Refrain : Aladin 135]
Baby, j’fais le tour du monde
Cette nuit ensemble on va s’éclipser
Aux problèmes je suis ta solution
J’m’endors dans l’avion, j’suis épuisé

[Couplet 2 : Chynna Rogers]
I was supposed to let the XXX posted with a rifle
It’s just me and my XXX
I just wanted to make it home tonight
XXX call tonight
Kicking down the XXX
Now we’ve landed in New York
International love with the Louis
She likes XXX bougie
Out of control XXX
XXX some movie
XXX
Tell us some love that you wouldn’t believe
XXX never seen
XXX never seen

[Pont 2 : Chynna Rogers] (x2)
Yeah, same shit everywhere
So I play the game everywhere
Passport, need a passport
So I can take a plane everywhere

[Refrain : Aladin 135] (x2)
Baby, j’fais le tour du monde
Cette nuit ensemble on va s’éclipser
Aux problèmes je suis ta solution
J’m’endors dans l’avion, j’suis épuisé

[Couplet 3 : Aladin 135]
C’est fluide, fluide, fluide
Dans les airs je plane
Si on s’crash, crash, crash
Qui va prendre le biff ?
On nous chin, chin, chin
Raconte d’la merde
Tu prends chaud, chaud, chaud

[Refrain : Aladin 135]
Baby, j’fais le tour du monde
Cette nuit ensemble on va s’éclipser
Aux problèmes je suis ta solution
J’m’endors dans l’avion, j’suis épuisé

Bibi Bourelly – Ballin (On The Late Late Show With James Corden) (Live)

[Intro]
Yeah, yeah
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh Lord
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah

[Verse 1]
I got fired from Old Navy
Landlord keeps on knocking
Swear that nigga hates me
Sleeping on this old couch
But shit, I’m not complaining
‘Cause I’m still a pimp though
Like there’s moulah raining
[Pre-Chorus]
And I ain’t never ever been this rich ever
I don’t even make all that much dough
Ask my mama for a dub and raised her blood pressure
Now she got me working at the corner store

[Chorus]
But I’m ballin’, ballin’
I’m so fucking awesome
Vroom vroom, yeah
That’s my Camry roaring
Shit, think the engine light came on
Now I gotta walk 15 miles to my apartment
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’
I’m so mother, motherfucking awesome, yeah
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’

[Post-Chorus]
Oh Lord
Yeah, yeah
Oh Lord

[Verse 2]
Gormet
Heart them ramen noodles
Freak it with the hot sauce
I do McDonalds too though
And when I wanna go out
Good Will gotta do though
Sweet talking the bouncers
18 bucks, I need 2 more

[Pre-Chorus]
And I ain’t never ever been this rich ever
I don’t even make all that much dough
Ask my mama for a dub and raised her blood pressure
Now she got me working at the corner store

[Chorus]
But I’m ballin’, ballin’
I’m so fucking awesome
Vroom vroom, yeah
That’s my Camry roaring
Shit, think the engine light came on
Now I gotta walk 15 miles to my apartment
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’
I’m so mother, motherfucking awesome, yeah
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’

[Post-Chorus]
Oh Lord

[Verse 3]
Jumped the gate, subway station
All the seats are taken
This kinda lifestyle teach you patience
I spend my very last savings on some Takis
I’m good at simbis crib
I don’t need no hotel lobbies
I doubt I’d get along with paparazzi , yeah
I just want a Slim Jim and a 40
I just wanna roll up to the sundown without my moms throwing a fit
I just wanna party in New York in all the abandon warehouses
With the hipster kids and the bad bitches with hair on their armpits
We wear designer clothes from thrifts
My hair might not be laid and did

[Chrous]
Yeah, but I’m ballin’, ballin’
I’m so fucking awesome
Vroom vroom, yeah
That’s my Camry roaring
Shit, think the engine light came on
Now I gotta walk 15 miles to my apartment
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’
I’m so mother, motherfucking awesome, yeah
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’
Ballin’, ballin’, ballin’

[Post-Chorus]
Oh Lord

Eduardo Leveck – All Monsters lyrics

Show the messege
Show the prays
Trying the best
How one day in New York
Pay the round, or
Wait from the heel
Fuck the others
Hope I me salvs

We are all monsters
Monsters, we are all monsters
We are all monsters, we are all monsters
Mo-mo-monsters, monsters, we are all monsters
We are all monsters, we are all monsters

One the choice

We’re are cracking
Till are please and realesed
All the payments, broken, richs
Till are welcome, back and see

We are all monsters
Monsters, we are all monsters
We are all monsters, we are all monsters
Mo-mo-monsters, monsters, we are all monsters
We are all monsters, we are all monsters

We are all monsters
